The University of Sydney

The University of Sydney was founded in 1850 as Australia's first university. Regarded as one of the world's leading universities, it caters for around 70,000 students and turns over around 3 billion dollars a year. The University of Sydney was awarded a Highly Commended Award at the 2021 SAP Concur Client Excellence Awards for their finance transformation success.

The university was previously challenged with lack of visibility and control around compliance and auditing as well as many manual work processes. Their finance transformation efforts focused on improving visibility, compliance and auditing processes and well as delivering an improved user experience.
