Travel procedures related to academic and administrative staff and student safety, security and well-being have become a major talking point at Australian higher educational establishments as extreme global and local weather and political events continue to increase. Best practices exist, and lessons are learned with every medical, natural, political or criminal event that impacts the safety of travelling personnel.
